South Carolina Man with $1M Bill

Alexander D. Smith, 31, from Georgia tried fooling a South Carolina bank when he walked in and tried to open a bank account with a $1M bill. Well, he didn't fool the teller. He was quickly arrested after the bill was discovered and he cursed out the clerks for not doing it.

Man, I hope he did't really think it was real.

SuperBug...Nothing to Fear!

It seems that we no longer have anything to fear from the Superbug. Thank goodness right? That's the last thing us moms/dads want to worry about is some bug/flu that goes around killing you/your kids when ya get it.

It seems that the MRSA, aka SuperBug, according to State Health Director Leah Devlin we have nothing to fear as this bug has been around for quite some time killing the same number of people. Ikk. A bit scary for me either way. This bug kills around 18,000 people a year, which is said not to be a lot. Not sure about you but I'm sterilizing all my stuff.

Superbug Pops up in Surry, NC

The Superbug has hit in Surry County, North Carolina, this time it was a school employee that came down with MRSA. For all those moms out there, the employee is currently not working, however once he/she recovers they can.

North Carolina Inmates get the SuperBug

The Superbug has struck again, this time in Cumberland County jail. (back in September) It seems two inmates have been treating for this bug. Currently they believe the bug is being spread by contact, cuts, scraps, etc.

The SuperBug Strikes the Carolinas

Keep on the look out it seems this traveling bug, known as the Superbug, has struck North Carolina. According to an article three teenagers have already passed from this mysterious bug. Now 6 more teens (football players) from East Forsyth High School (North Carolina) have been diagnosed with the same thing. Other reports state 6 more teens in West Virginia have come down with it. East High is scrubbing down the entire school to make sure the virus/bug doesn't spread.

The SuperBug has also struck and killed 3 more children.

11-year-old in New Hampshire
4-year-old in Mississippi
17-year-old Ashton Bonds of Virginia

The real name for this bug is methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA. Currently doctors and scientists are trying to figure out why this is infecting healthy people, when it normally effects those with low immune systems. If you or your child comes down with these symptoms seek medical help.

I'll try keeping everyone up-to-date as I learn more about the Superbug.
